Our history
Glampet arises from the need to cover the physical care of animals that live in one of the many shelters that currently exist. Part of the love that the Founder Luisa Fernanda Abreo Moreno feels for animals, who, being a Psychology student and volunteer in several of these shelters, sees the need to learn the art of dog grooming in order to groom the dogs and cats that arrive daily in various ways to these places where she volunteers. In the company of her partner and husband Cristian Camilo Durán Rueda, in 2020 they created the Glampet company, training in dog grooming, managing to launch the non-profit company solely with the aim of linking the effort to get dogs and cats that are currently abandoned on the streets with the art of hairdressing, thus giving furry dogs an opportunity to find a home. In 2023 they formalized the company making it their main source of income, managing to venture into this sector, detecting the need for a dog grooming salon where pets are not physically or psychologically affected by the separation grief they experience when they are taken to a dog grooming salon far from home, offering dog grooming services at home in the comfort of your home.
